Individual Counselling


I take an experiential, integrative and somatic approach to individual counselling. You come with symptoms, patterns or problems that you’d like to change. I come with a library of diverse theapeutic modalities and tools, including multiple methods for working safely with traumatic experiences whose effects linger in the body and nervous system. We synthesise all of this into a tailored experience that’s just for you.

That might look like:
- talking, listening, reflecting, understanding
- working with parts of self and/or inner children
- feeling into your boundaries and/or desires in a bodily/spatial sense, through movement
- exploring your breath and voice
- revisiting moments when you didn’t have the love or support that you needed, and offering that to yourself (sometimes called ‘re-parenting’)
- exploring existential questions (what your life is supposed to be about) and developing a richer sense of purpose
- understanding your experiences in their historical & political context and in relation to forms of trauma and violence that you and/or others (eg. racism, explotation, gendered violence)
- connecting with spiritual resources that are meaningful to you, such as ancestors, guides, or God

I will always try whatever I think will be the most helpful, most interesting, and most fun intervention
